Design:
CryoLock® is a square-shaped device with four flat surfaces. Both the lid and the housing have the same expansion coefficient, which ensures an equally reliable connection both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures.
The body and cap have gaps at the edges, which makes it easy to grab them with forceps during manipulation.
Material:
The CryoLock® components, body and lid, are made of medical polystyrene, which ensures uniform temperature transfer from side to side of the device.
CryoLock® and its robust cap have been designed to ensure maximum sample safety during storage. CryoLocks are available in sterile and sealed vials of 5 Cryolock units, ready for use in human IVF laboratories and animal research laboratories.
CryoLock® Features:
They are made of solid plastic casting at temperatures from 180°C to 260°C, which avoids contamination and the presence of impurities.
Slots at the ends of the case and the CryoLock® lid for easy handling allow you to avoid the risk of loosening the covers during storage.
Exclusive cap design, ideal for room and sub-zero temperatures.
The large marking surface makes it easier to identify samples.
Available in vials of five CryoLock® units, properly sterilized by gamma radiation.

The tip
Its concave tip, where oocytes or embryos are placed, protects the sample from contact with other surfaces, preventing loss or damage to the samples.
CryoLock® closure system
Its unique design provides an airtight seal, which is created by a conical surface where the Cryolock body and lid fit perfectly together, creating a closure system capable of isolating the tip from liquid nitrogen (LN2) after Cryolock immersion in LN2.
