Lifetime records
NAND Flash devices use semiconductor technology that has a finite amount of data that can be written to the device, defined as the maximum usage limit, commonly referred to as "write endurance". Write Endurance — measured when performing 100% random writes of 4 KB across the entire SSD. Disk Writes per Day (DWPD) — The workload environment is based on 100% random 4 KB writes over five (5) years, which is the maximum amount of data that can be written to a device before the device's write endurance limit is reached.
DWPD endurance (records per disk per day)
Endurance: read-intensive disks are usually defined as <= 1 DWPD
Guarantee
HPE solid-state drives and expansion cards have a standard 3/0/0 warranty; customer self-repair (CSR) subject to maximum usage restrictions. The maximum usage limit is the maximum amount of data that can be written to disk. Discs that reach this limit are not covered by warranty.
